RMTT Goes Green - Begins Equipment Recycling Program

Rocky Mountain Tech Team Recycling is the right thing to do says RMTT

Starting in the month of November RMTT will begin offering a recycling program for our customers.

In our continuing effort to become a one stop shop for all IT and computer needs we've now added eqiupment recycling to our ever growing list of services. We can now schedule to pickup your end of life equipment next time we are planning to be onsite to tackle your IT needs.

What will happen to your equipment? If RMTT is able to reuse, repurpose, or donate your equipment we will do that as a first option. All other equipment will be processed by Luminous Electronics Recycling. Luminous will help to find a secondary use for your equipment, or de-manufacture the equipment and recycle the commodities (aluminum, copper, etc.) back into the manufacturing stream. Any equipment containing data (like your hard drive) will be shredded.

Overall we feel like this is the right thing to do and is a service we are proud to add to our existing line of services.

Meet Matthew Jordan

Rocky Mountain Tech TeamMatt Jordan is looking forward to snow. He lived in South Florida for six years before moving to Colorado and didn’t get to see any snow while he was there. Oh yes, he did make several trips every year to snow-laden places for the opportunity to tear it up on the slopes, but nothing like living in Colorado. Now that Matt has been in Colorado for a year and a half, he still can’t wait for snow. Every morning he wakes up and looks out the window first thing and checks to see if it snowed during the night. He has big plans this winter to get over 40 days of snowboarding in as well as some winter camping and snowshoeing. If you see Matt ask him what his next adventure in the snow will be; no doubt it will be something cold and fun!
