Our Voice Over IP Story... First we sold a hosted PBX solution that more or less crashed and burned. The main issue was the it ran over your Qwest DSL, Cbeyond, Comcast or other connection. When these connections had minor blips in their connectivity it would drop calls. The hosted PBX vendor would say call your ISP, the ISP would say call your hosted PBX vendor and the loop would continue...

When we stopped selling the hosted product we took a hiatus from VoIP until it became more stable. In spring 2007 we began to research options again as prosperous small businesses need powerful phone systems and who better to work with than your favorite IT crew... Rocky Mountain Tech Team. We tested many different products before we decided on Switchvox. It has all the bells and whistles of Voice over IP phone system (ring cell phone as an extension, etc), a solid company behind it that does not create the fear of going under and leaving customers high and dry (Digium - the driving force behind Asterisk), and a structure that mandates a Service Level Agreement (SLA) that will not lead to dropped calls. We are now proud to be back in the VoIP game.

Locally we most commonly work with CBeyond and Forethought using SIPConnect technology for the dial tone provider but are compatible with just about all of them including PRI and Analog dial tone from Qwest and others.
