Ben, Matt, Ryan & Brandon rolled through the amazing scenery of the front range of the Rocky Mountains. There were vistas, there were views and there certainly were vistas of views. They talked about technology for zero minutes.

Windows Server 2012 – NIC Teaming slow read speeds
In 2012 (and R2) you may get slow read speeds with the NIC's teamed, but write speeds are fine (use lanspeedtest lite to test speeds) To fix this go to each NIC properties, click the configure button, click advanced and set these options to DISABLED: largesend offload V2(ipv4) largesend offload V2(ipv6) Vm queues TCP/UDP Checksum offload (ipv4) TCP/UDP checksum offload (ipv6) This should take effect instantly. Spotify Desktop App Causing Trouble
We've been getting reports and have seen first hand where the Spotify application for Windows is very aggressively and unnecessarily writing data to local hard drives. This can significantly slow down your computer, cause your hard drive to die sooner than it would otherwise (especially with Solid State Drives). We recommend removing the Spotify application all together (you can still stream from spotify.com without the application installed), or upgrade to the most recent version. Please [...]

August's Social Happy Hour was at Liquid Mechanics Brewing Co. in Lafayette, Colorado. Liquid Mechanics was founded by three friends and former biotech/pharmaceutical professionals. RMTT Mail Services Spam Filter Is Changing
Beginning summer of 2016, RMTT will be transitioning the back end of its Mail Services platform to ProofPoint. This will have very little impact on you as the end user as we will be migrating your existing whitelist/blacklists from the prior platform. The biggest change will be the email you receive to let you know that you have something in your quarantine. The new email (shown below) has 2 actions: 'Release' and 'Release & Approve'. [...]

This month's happy hour was at 12Degree Brewing in Louisville, Colorado. He looked to create the same kind of atmosphere here and Louisville felt like the perfect fit. Dennis, Caleb, Michele, Jeff, Matt, Joanie, Eric, and Eric's wife, Kelli all made it out and cooled off [...]
